September 12 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday, September 12th, 6:45 pm, starting with Havdalah
Selichot helps us prepare intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually for the High Holy Days.
We’ll participate in a thought-provoking program followed by a brief Selichot service of High Holy Days music and themes.
We’ll start the evening with Havdalah.
To enhance your experience, you may want to have a braided Havdalah candle, a small cup of sweet kosher wine,
and the traditional spices (made from a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves in any pleasing proportion).
If you don’t have a spice box, you can use a glass.
We’ll have these items for you to see online,
so please don’t worry if you don’t have them.
You might want to have some paper and pen or pencil
for the activity after.
Please RSVP to Renee to receive your Zoom link.
