Dear Men of Kehillah,
Anyone up for a short road trip to South Phoenix (16th St & Broadway)?
This spot is as authentic as it gets and has a big following. Cocina Madrigal is a fantastic place for some of the best Mexican food around. They’re currently cooking out of a food-truck kitchen while the restaurant is being rebuilt after a late-2023 fire—but don’t let “food truck” scare you off. There are tables and servers, and everything is taken care of.
I’m happy to drive and can take 3–4 guys with me. Mike Greenberg may also be able to drive and take a few people.
If anyone else can drive, let me know—we can meet at the synagogue and head over together.
I promise, the food is 100% worth the trip.
